Why this manhwa stands out
See You in My 19th Life (이번 생도 잘 부탁해) follows Ban Jieum, a woman who carries the memories of her eighteen past lives — including the eighteenth, when she was Yun Juwon, whose accidental death left someone she loved behind. Rather than leaning on past-life melodrama, Lee Hye keeps the story rooted in contemporary Seoul: Jieum is reborn into a new family and works to find Moon Seoha again. Lee Hye, who also wrote A Good Day to be a Dog, slips a cameo of that series' family into Episode 21. The webtoon ran on Naver from 2020 to 2022, was published in English print by Yen Press, and was adapted by tvN in 2023 as a live-action drama on Netflix. The series treats grief, accumulated love, and the cost of remembering with unusual care.
Best for readers who liked: Maybe Meant to Be (grounded modern Korean romance) and Seasons of Blossom (emotional craft with serious thematic weight).
Where to start: Completed — a full-binge title. Read free on WEBTOON.
